Introduction
------------

**Introduction to Ocean Data Science** is a collection of :term:`notebooks<notebook>` that aims to teach you
basic concepts in ocean data science.

The notebooks assume the level of :term:`Python` knowledge described in **Programming Basics with Python** notebooks.
If you are not familiar with these latter notebooks, you should start from :ref:`python_basics`.

Quick-Access Url
----------------

If you have already executed the *Programming Basics with Python* notebooks, you should know the mechanism
on how to access the `CCOM/JHC <http://ccom.unh.edu/>`_ :term:`server`. If you are not, see :ref:`python_basics_first_access`.
